Evoke, which operates brands including as William Hill, 888, and Mr Green, has purchased New Gambling Solutions S.R.L, the operator of Romania's Winner.ro.
Evoke will invest its Romania business as well as €10 million ($11.12 million) in cash for a 51% stake in the Romanian company as part of the transaction. This will bring together 888.ro and Winner to build a new integrated enterprise.
Romania will become evoke's sixth core market, alongside the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, and Denmark.
