According to Playmaker, the partnership will allow their brand to be associated with a national football team that is "most followed and admired" globally.
As part of the agreement, the Futbol Sites brand will be responsible for developing and maintaining the AFA's social media accounts in English.
Social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter will be utilised by Futbol Sites to establish an English-language platform for the AFA.
Collaborating with Futbol Sites' North American commercial partners, the AFA will utilise new accounts under the @AFASeleccionEA handle to deliver branded campaigns and creative digital content.
After the recent triumph of the Argentina National Team at the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where it lifted the coveted cup, Playmaker says that the AFA will be able to attract new fans and sponsors through this relationship by showcasing material through English-speaking platforms.
Futbol Sites will create content in English that focuses on experiences of fans, highlights, celebrations, watch parties, and more.
In addition, the agreement permits Futbol Sites to link esteemed North American stars like Lionel Messi, Julian Álvarez, Enzo Fernández, Angel Di María, and others to their respective businesses.
This follows Playmaker's recent LatAm market agreement with the NBA.
As part of the agreement, the NBA agreed to let Futbol Sites air highlight reels on their social media channels in certain Latin American countries.
The National Basketball Association (NBA) will now air highlights on the social media accounts of Futbol sites, such as Bolavip, Cracks, Varsky Sports, and RedGol, in the following countries: Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
